What It Does & How It Helps

A diesel alternator carries a load a gasoline unit never sees: glow plugs or a grid heater pulling hundreds of amps on every cold start, two batteries to recharge afterwards, and — on the trucks that tow — a trailer's brakes and lights on top of the truck's own.
